Money Market Accounts are available for individuals and corporations. The customer is allowed to make an unlimited number of deposits in a Money Market Account, but according to banking regulations only three checks and three transfers can be processed during each statement period. These accounts earn interest based on a variable rate, when the average monthly balance of the account is higher than $2,500 for individuals and $5,000 for corporations. If the average balance of the account is less than the required minimum a maintenance fee will apply.
