An investment account that offers flexibility to immediately access the funds with a competitive interest rate.
It is available for individuals and corporations. They offer the facility of issuing checks and a monthly balance statement. The customer is allow to make unlimited number of deposits in a Money Market Account but pursuant to the regulations only three checks and three transfers during each month or statement period. These accounts receive interests based on a variable rate when the average daily balance of the account is equal or higher than $2.500 for individuals and $5.000 for corporations. If the average balance of the account is less than the required minimum a maintenance fee will apply. Interests are calculated based on the average daily balance and are monthly credited.
